MG ZGMF-X19A Infinite Justice (Gao Gao)

Hi guys, here's the 013 of Gao Gao, MG Infinite Justice ;).

Manufacturer: Gao Gao/TT Hongli
Scale: 1/100
Grade: MG
Origin: Gundam SEED Destiny
Price: RM85 (Those who are interested can contact me)

Please take note that I did minor detail coloring and some inner lining with gold and metallic red, so please do not expect that to be pre-colored on your kit ;)

Section 1: Runners

Detailing are pretty good for this kit... I would say it is up to 95% as good compare to the original. The plastics quality is the usual Gao Gao quality which is not bad ;)

Section 2: Effect Parts

There are quite a number of beam effect parts come with this kit as Infinite Justice can emit beam at it shins for melee combat.

There is also a beam shield effect part and a wire for the cutter mounted on its shield ;)

Section 3: Decals

As it is well known fact, Gao Gao is giving dry-sticker decal in the older days (this is the older batch... very old) and the quality are no match for today's decal by Gao Gao. The dry-stickers are in a shinny finish rather than the flat finish nowadays :P.

This kit have enough detailing that can go without any decals tho ;)

Section 4: Skeleton Build

The Legs

Articulations are pretty good! A little limitation on the ankles but no big deal. I'm happy with it :)

The Waist

Pretty straight-forward with mechanism to widen the hip spreading angle for dynamic action posing ;)

The Chest

Pretty standard chest piece for most of SEED Destiny MG ;) The pull-out mechanism would allow the shoulder joints to be pulled out for more dynamic posing. The neck employed a dual-joints head could tilt forward and backward pretty well ;)

The Arms

Excellent articulations for the arms ;)

The Head

Parts separations is very good! One minor flaw is that the peg for the front helmet and the back helmet is a bit tight so you might have o do some trimming in order for it not to leave a visible gap in between... don't be a JEDI here or you'll break something :P

Completed Skeleton

Very good articulations ;)

Sneak Peek of the Backpack

More pictures in later section ;)

Section 5: The Legs

Pretty straight-forward build with very good articulations. Parts separations are well done with no snap-fit issue ;)

Section 6: Waist

A very nice waist ;) Parts separations are good.

Section 7: Chest

Pretty straight forward build. Snap-fitting pretty well here too ;)

Section 8: Arms & Shoulders

Fantastic arms ;) Minor hindrance of movement but not an issue. Parts separations are well done with no snap-fitting problem.

Section 9: Semi-Completed Main Mecha

Just for fun and comparison between armored and naked ;)

Section 10: StandART ;)

Section 11: Size Comparison

Size comparison with MG RX-78-2 OYW and MG Deathscythe EW ;)

Section 12: Backpack

This Fatum-01 flight backpack, equipped with self-discipline AI, provides Infinite Justice with high-mobility capability as well as doubling up as assault weaponry, with beam particles emitting from both wings cutting through enemy units along the path.

Stand-by Mode

Deploy Mode

Section 13: Weaponry

Beam Rifle

Beam Shield

Beam Boomerang

Grapple Stinger

Beam Saber

Section 14: More Posing

Side-by-side with Strike Freedom ;)

Continue with More ;)

Quick Review

Plastic Quality and Detailing

The plastic quality is the usual Gao Gao/TT Hongli quality. The detailing are nicely done.

Articulations

Articulations are very good!
  • Head/Neck: Good!
  • Shoulder: Excellent!
  • Arm/Elbow: Excellent!
  • Wrist: Normal.
  • Hand: Normal.
  • Waist: Good.
  • Skirt Armour: Good.
  • Hip/Tight: Excellent.
  • Knee: Excellent.
  • Ankle: Normal.
  • Feet: Good.

Looks and Feels

The detailing is pretty good and come close to 95% of the original!

The snap-fit is also very nicely done, but there are some excessive plastics you might need to trim from certain parts... no big deal tho ;)

Bandai should have included a special stand for this kit, seeing that MG Strike Freedom and MG Destiny both have their own stand! MG Infinite Justice seriously need an action stand for it to he handsome ;)

Overall, this kit is pretty nice and could be a viable replacement if the original is you are tight in budget but want to complete the collection of SEED Destiny kits ;)

Still, for those of you who can afford, do buy original ;)

    1. It can stand with backpack in stand-by mode, but you definitely need an action base for dynamic posing ;)

  2. hi there, nice to meet you
i saw your review for bootleg model kits such as epyon, ARF daban and deathscythe hell cust. it is really helped me, mate. thanks

btw, which one better, ARF or InJus?or InJus' quality even with the ARF?
cos ARF daban is the best bootleg i've ever met

i do have the original one btw, but it's the 30th edition and i decided to make it as collector items and buy the bootleg instead :D

  4. Hi DuelMasterNG,
I'm confused with the durability of this kit.
I used to have one and the wrist didn't fit very well.
I assembled the kit and just put it on the shelf for display, no posing, but it still... you know, fell apart.
Can you tell me how to fix and increase the durability of this one?

    1. As you can see, my unit is highly posable and joints are firm. Are yours from the same manufacturer? There are some other China bootleg besides Gao Gao and TT Hongli.
As to your joint issue... you can use apply a thin layer of superglue to increase the traction (only join back after the glue dried), or you could wrap a layer of double-sided tape at the joint.

    2. Yeah :D Thanks a alot for the tips :D
Anyway, is the kit's durability high? I once had a TT Hongli one, but it was too lame. I donated it for my friend, who got nothing in his mind about gundams, but he's a great modeler of tanks.
